The Chaska Fire Department's annual fishing contest, on Firemen's Lake, produces fine fat fish like these from the 2002 contest (1st place, a bass; 2nd place, a walleye; 3rd place, a northern; etc.).

This year's contest, the 48th, will be held the afternoon of Sunday, January 30 from 2 to 4.
