Minnesota River stream velocity

This May 2004 reading from the new Acoustic Doppler Velocity Meter (ADVM) at Ft. Snelling shows stream velocity in feet per second. Note how the river picks up speed toward the end of the week, the result of spring rains. Almost real-time readings are available on the USGS web site.
